Songs of the Month! April 2015

Hey Guys!
I really love music, like a lot.
I hope to one day have a career in the
music industry.
Or something to do with acting.
Since I love music so much,
I thought I would start
this new monthly segment called
"Songs of the Month"
Real creative, right?
Basically, I will just list my top
three favorite songs of the month!

#3

I am not sure if I have ever mention this, but my favorite band of all time
is R5. I just went to see their movie,"R5: All Day, All Night"last Thursday. This is their
newest single,"Let's Not Be Alone Tonight" I just really love the lyrics of this song.
All of their songs are so meaningful.

#2
My next favorite song is from the Broadway musical, Heathers.
It is based off the 1989 movie,"Heathers". I actually had no idea this
musical even existed. I watched the movie a couple of months ago, and
then a bunch of people that were in Guys and Dolls showed it to me. It is now one of
my favorite musicals. But the song I have loved from it is called, "Candy Store". The
song is just really funny and fun to sing. And I love the main character, Heather Chandler.
She is a "mythic bitch".

And my number one song of the month is, "Shut Up and Dance"
by Walk The Moon. Riker from R5 just danced
to this song a couple of weeks to go on Dancing With The Stars.
I seriously love the vibes of this song, and I love
the lesson you can learn from it. Usually songs that are really
catchy are also really annoying, but this song is catchy,
but it's not just about a random topic.

These three songs were really hard to choose.
Their were so many songs I loved
in April. I recommend checking out all of these artists
and the Broadway musical. Make sure to comment any artists
that you guys recommend because I am always
looking for new music to listen to!
XOXO

Book Recommendation April 2015

Hey Guys!
Its time for one of my favorite posts,
 a book recommendation!
I need to be honest with you though,
I have not been reading a lot this past month.
I'm not sure if I ever mentioned,
but I am in a musical at my school,
opening was this past Friday, so I have been
really focused on that.
And I realize I haven't posted in over
a week! I missed this so so much!

This book us called The Daughter by Joanna Philbin
It is about three daughters, obviously,
who all have a famous parent.
The main character is Lizzie Summers, she
is the one with red hair.
I actually read this book for the first time
more then a year ago, but I still
re-read it every couple of months.
