Makeup for Theatre

Hey Guys!
So, I probably have never mentioned
this before, but I am really into acting.
Like I am most likely going to try
and pursue it as a career on day.
So I thought I would show
you guys what makeup
I bring for productions I am in!

This is like just a brownish, neutral lipstick
from Rouge Sensation, in the color,
Ginger Root Velvet. It doesn't
matter at all what brand
you get or the exact shade.
But for most roles, a neutral lip is needed.
Unless their is a specific color
that the director requests.

This one is pretty obvious, but you
will need a mascara. I use
Great Lash in Very Black from Maybelline.
But, again, it doesn't matter which
brand you use. Just as long
as it makes your eyes POP!

The is probably another obvious one,
but you will most likely need an eye liner
This one in the picture is the
Exaggerate eye liner from Rimmel.
I'm not sure of the exact color.
But I really like this eye liner because on the
the other end of it
their is this spongy thing
that you can use to blend/smudge
the eyeliner so the line isn't so harsh

This one is really important.
This foundation is from
Match Perfection Foundation in number
130 True Ivory from Rimmel.
Any type/brand of foundation
will work fine.
Don't spend all your money
on foundation just for theater,
I;m nearly positive that no one will notice
if your foundation looks cakey
up on stage

And the last essential type of makeup is blush.
This is a powder palette in Blushing Natural.
Don't kill me, but I'm not sure
what brand this is. But really, like
a lot of the products I mentioned, it doesn't matter
what brand you use, just as long
as it does what it is supposed to do.

I just realized that a lot of the products
I mentioned are from Rimmel.
Probably because it is my favorite drug store brand.
Some of these products,
like the blush and the lipstick,
were from my moms stash of makeup,
by the way.
Oh, and I'm sorry I haven't posted
in over a week. I actually thought
I posted something on Sunday
but I did it on my phone and I guess
it didn't work...

Whats on my iPhone?

Hello everybody!
Today I thought I would show you guys what
is on my iPhone so you could get
to know be a little better

On the first screen I just have every app
that comes with the phone, nothing
really super exciting......

In my first folder I have the YouTube app and Flipagram
Flipagram is basically an app where
you can take a bunch of pictures and put them
into a slide show.
It actually is really useful and it often
comes in handy

Then I have Pinterest and Buzzfeed.
Pinterest is basically the more sophisticated version
of Tumblr. If that makes any sense.
Buzzfeed just has random news
articles and other stuff, but usually I only use
it to take stupid quizzes when I am bored.

This is my music folder, as I like to call it.
Pandora is an Internet radio, in case
you didn't know. And Spotify is really similar, but
if you buy the full version, I didn't, you can
choose your own songs that you want to play
and download them so you don't need Internet
to listen to the songs you chose. Pretty cool I guess

These are most of my games.
I know you probably can't see the apps very well.
But from left to right I have Crossy Road,
Trivia Crack, Smash Hit, Monopoly,
Jetpack Joyride, ZigZag, aa, and Geometry Dash
I'm not going to try to explain any of these games, but they
are all really fun and I suggest checking them out. They
are all free by the way.

Okay, these might be my two favorite apps.
Goodreads is just really cool
You can scan all the bar codes of the books
you own and have a virtual library on your phone
and keep track of all the books you own.
It also recommends books that you may like.
Wattpadd is basically just a place to write
and share stories, mostly fanfiction

Don't judge! Everyone has their
social media folder.
I don't need to explain these, but you can
follow me on Tumblr, theflourescentdemon

These are my favorite photo and video
editing apps. Incase you can't
see the picture too well, there is
Aviary, Color Cap, Magisto and PhotoGrid.
They are all free also.

Polyvore is an app where you can design outfits
its really fun if you love clothes.
Perfect 365 is a makeup editor.
You can take a picture of someone or yourself
and see what you would look like with
certain types of makeup.
Its really fun to mess around with!

No explanation needed.....

I have no shame in playing the Kardashian game.
Its actually really fun when you don't think
about how its Kim Kardashians game.
Life is really useful and fun to have on long car trips
The akinator is sort of like twenty questions.
You think of a person or a character and it asks
you a series of questions and tries to guess who you are
thinking of. It get it right at least 95% of the time
I had to pay for The Game Of Like and Akinator

Ahh, the irony of showing you guys the
Blogger app while you are reading
this on Blogger right now.
I'm not the biggest fan of the app, I almost
always prefer writing blog posts on the computer.
And I only ever Skype with my cousin.

And that is what is on my iPhone!
I hope you guys enjoyed snooping on my phone
and I hope this let you know a little more about me
If you have any questions about any of the apps
feel free to comment!
XOXO

Drugstore Haul!

Hello everybody!
Recently I went to Walmart
and I picked up a few new products
that are actually AMAZING!
And I know some people will only buy products
from high end brands, but I thought that you
guys might enjoy knowing about some cheaper
yet really good quality makeup!

So first up is the Rimmel Radiance BB Cream in
the shade light.
Since I am still a young teen, foundation
would just be too much for me.
So a great alternative is BB Cream!
It acts as a tinted moisturizer and sunscreen
all in one!
It really makes any of my red spots or blemishes
not look as bad.
It doesn't cover them up completely. But
remember, this is a BB Cream, not
a foundation or concealer!
I recommend this if you are a teenager or
are in need of a product that is not as heavy
as foundation yet still has pretty good coverage!

Next is the Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara.
I saw this at the store and I recognized it from
a bunch of YouTubers videos and I decided
I should try it.
It works really well for me!
It almost never clumps up
and I just
LOVE how it makes my lashes look!
Plus, I love the packaging. And lets face it, a lot
of the times we are drawn to makeup
because of its packaging.

Okay, so I lied.
This lipstick isn't new.
I have literally had it for nearly two years!
But recently I have been wearing
it almost every single day!
It is a Kate Moss lipstick in the number 11,
Lasting Finish.
It looks way darker then it actually is.
Its so pretty and I always get compliments on it.
Its like darker red shade.

As a matter of fact, all the products that
I have mentioned in this post I was wearing in
the pictures that I took!
I would give you a closer look, but my camera
is such bad quality!
Let me know of any other beauty products
that you guys recommend in the comments!
And make sure to tell me if you
try out any of these products!
I have another post coming soon for the book
recommendation of March, so make
sure to look out for that!
XOXO

Consignment Store Haul!

Hey Guys!
Earlier today I went to Plato's Closet
and my mom spent a bit too
much of money on me.
But I LOVE the clothes I got,
so here are a few of my favorites.

Well, this shirt is pretty
self explanatory.
I have been so OBSESSED with
The Beatles, lately.
So I nearly had a heart attack
when I saw this shirt!

The material of these pants
are so so nice!
They are sort of like Harlem pants, and
I just really loved the pattern.

This crop top is really edgy,
I think.
It has long sleeves, but the
shoulders are cut out.
Its really adorable,
I think.

These jeans are perfect for the spring time
And if you can't see it in the picture,
the pants are pink
with white polka dots.

This crop top looks
AMAZING with high waisted
jeans or shorts.
I love the pattern, and
it really just fits me perfectly!

These shoes are probably
my favorite item that I got.
They are heels, but they have this cool,
intricate pattern.
Plus, I love the sound of heels.

I'm not exactly sure where all of these
items are actually from.
But I just wanted to show you guys
that just because
clothes are not brand new, that
doesn't mean they can't
be cute or good quality.
I got tons more items, but these are
some of my favorites!
XOXO

Book Recommendation March 2015

As it is now March and we have nearly 1/4th of
the year completed (crazy right?!)
It is now time for another book recommendation!
This was sorta of hard, because I have read a
lot of great books recently.
But one that I literally started reading
yesterday, is the one
that I chose to recommend to you guys!

This book is a very short and easy read
But it is a "feel good" book,
as I like to say.
Also, my teacher loaned me this book,
so I am kind of passing on
the recommendation!

Basically, this book is about a girl named Hope Yancy who was raised by her Aunt Addie. During her childhood she had moved around many times. But one thing that she was really good at was being a waitress, like her mom who she only sees every couple of years. The main plot of the story is about how she moves to a new town in Wisconsin and meets new people and works at a new diner.

Let me know if you happen to read this book,
or have already read it in the past.
I know that one of my favorite things to do is
to talk about books!
XOXO

Favorite Scents

Hello everybody!
I know that something I find super
attractive in someone is the way they smell.
So today I thought I would share
with you my favorite scents that
I use almost every single day!

This first scent is Japanese Cherry Blossom
from Bath and Body Works.
This is probably my most used body spray of all time.
I have probably been using this for about
two years at the least.
Every time I see my aunt she always steals
it from me!
One time when I was purchasing another bottle
of this for probably the 10th time,
a lady working at the shop said that since
I liked this scent, I had an old soul.
Ummmmmm....

These next two are my really sweet smelling scents.
The one on the left is Pink Chiffon, from
Bath and Body Works as well.
The one on the right is Wonderstruck
by Taylor Swift.
They both smell very sweet.
I definitely would not recommend them if
you wanted more of a mature scent.
But that is actually my second bottle of Wonderstruck,
so it is a pretty nice scent.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post.
I decided to post actual pictures of me with it
so you guys wouldn't think I was just advertising
it or something like that.
I actually do use these body sprays and perfumes!
Make sure to comment if you have
or want to try any of these scents.
Also, comment some scents that you guys recommend!
I really want to try some new ones!
XOXO
